This version doesnt run on my iPhone 5S iOS 7.0.3

Excellent interface for anyone who has an AppRadio installed in there car. Uses touchscreen navigation which makes playing and selecting music much easier and safer while driving.

Without it, this app is useless when iTunes match and iCloud are enabled.

Definitely prefer this to the stock iPod app - its a lot snappier and scrolling is nice and smooth. A few things would really improve this app though: 1. Support for Podcasts 2. Support for Video Please, please add support for the first one at the very least!

Far better cosmetically than the stock app on the AVH-P8400BH but the functionality leaves some to be desired. The audio output lacks in comparison to the stock app possibly because sound retriever is not enabled for it. My second irritation is that the app / advanced app mode is buggy. Switching back and forth between apps, say car media player and navigation (Navfree) usually causes the touch to cease or the display to go blank! You have to unplug, restart the app or even sometimes the iPhone to restore functionality. Trust this is more than a minor irritation on the highway and potentially dangerous for anyone. Pioneer needs to throw their weight behind their products or lose customers.

Looks better than the built in player but I would appreciate a clock on the display. Have to check my other phone to see what time it is.

Stupid design. Like so many others have said, add a clock when in app mode! Why do we need to use this app when Pioneer should be fixing the built in iPod player which is garbage! Why have a clock that takes up the whole screen to not being able to tell time in any other screen. Who designs this stuff? Wake up Pioneer! Stop spewing out updates that do nothing at best and usually mess something up!

Love the display. But could use some improvements to the interface. Would love to see some gesture support for things like next or previous track (swipe left/right) or maybe even next playlist/album with swiping up/down. Also a little quirky when switching apps, compared to others in AppRadio. Update: no real improvements since my last post although there have been several "updates" posted. The line for the song playing cuts off hanging letters like g, j, p, q, and y. Still think the biggest improvement that can be made would be to add gesture controls for track up and down with swipes left/right.

This app is TERRIBLE!!!! With the iPhone 5 its pretty much unusable. Not sure whos issue it is Apples or Pioneers but fix it soon!!! This is an interface for an expensive piece of equipment and it makes it pointless!!! Total complete garbage

I run the APPRADIO since last summer with my Iphone4 and I was almost satified. I decide too upgrade to an Iphone5 two weeks ago and then, after a treasure race to find all the cable, adaptor, install upgrades on the radio, install the new cables, I find a non-friendly-user interface that is no longer direct on the main screen... What a crap, and did I mention you the cost of the cables and adaptor? Almost 120$ . Pioneer, apple you made me recret my purchase, Im of a mercy of some company who have monopoly and abuse it. Sorry

crash on video playback dosent work...

The new update crashes every time I try to open it. Please fix it!

I have always bought a Pioneer for my car but it seems that his time Pioneer was a little to in a hurry to roll out the Car media app and AppRadio app for iphone . Car Media app crashes everytime on video playback( not enough beta testing i suppose) and on the AppRadio app my Igo nav does not work, keep asking me to buy addon from the innapp store.... The appstore says just .... addons not available....... Cmon Pioneer this Iphone / radio merger could ger you way ahead of the competition but without working software there is nothing to gain on this battle field you want to get onto. Pioneer first get you battle gear ready before heading into war. Get your japanese software wonderboys to work now!!!! :)

This app doesnt work. I run a clean iPhone OS and can promise you that this app doesnt work. Youll open it. The app radio2 will hang on a blank screen. The app will take you to the home screen on your phone and thats it. Exit, restart, reinstall do nothing. This app is completely garbage. Apple needs to issue refunds on things like this. This is all too common with the appradio.

Appradio 1 - this app used to work but with the new update it just crashes as soon as the radio makes contact with it.

This app does not support video play at all. I have an iPhone 4S not jail broken and the videos never start playing its just a blank screen.

like everything about AppRadio (reading that, Pioneer?) this is a good idea poorly executed. main problems: 1) no Genre filter 2) WHY ISNT THIS THE IPOD APP? ...seriously the default AppRadio iPod app is manure..
